Grace, the gift of Jesus !

Grace is getting something that we didn't deserve and no matter what we do, we won't be able to make up for it, buy it or even bribe our way to it. 

That is why so many don't understand the grace of God, because for so many years people have been shouting telling them how bad they were.

We all know that we were sinners yet Christ died for us ! Jesus loves you so much He died on the cross for you over 2000 years ago.  Listen I know your thinking hey you don't know what I have  done and your right, but guess what Jesus does, he knows what you have done and is not shocked.  He made you and he wants you to come to you as you are . 

Matthew 11:28 "Jesus said Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest, take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly and you shall find rest unto your souls."  

For years people have come to me and ask is this sin bad or that sin bad. I would share that all sin is bad. I think what has happened is that people are asking the wrong question instead of asking what can I do to be in right standing with God they ask is this lifestyle a sin. The scriptures say Romans 3:23 "For we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  This scriptures puts us all in the same catagory. We all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God."

Romans 3:10 says "None are righteous no not even one. There is no one who understands, there is no one that seeks after God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, no not even one."

Romans 3:19 says " Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God"

Romans 3:20 says " Therefore no one will be declared righteous in Gods sight by the works of the law, rather through the law we become conscious of our sin."

Romans 3:21 says "But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the law and the Prophets testify."

Now my favorite Romans 3:22 "This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile."

Romans 3:23 here we go again "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."

How you may ask after I went over how we cannot save ourselves by righteous acts or deeds? The next verse says it all 

Romans 3:25 "God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood to be received by faith.  He did this to demostrate his righteousness"

because in his forbearance he had left the sins commited beforehand unpunished, he did it to demonstrate his righteousness as the present time so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

Wow it's so simple that many miss it ! He became punishment for us he became sin for us who knew no sin that we might become the righteousness of God!!!

For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.  Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he “has put everything under his feet.”
